Toddlers in Tutus

Keeping these 1-yr olds in place was no small feat. It took about 5 women singing the itzy bitzy spider over and over to get these shots!

A precious birth

This is my best friend's third child and my goddaughter! I flew to ICY cold Minnesota last weekend to meet the new addition and of course to photograph her. They have a full and complete house and are embracing the change with grace and the confidence of veterans. I cannot wait to see her grow up and play with her two big brothers that will love her dearly. What a lucky little girl.

Family Session after Christmas!

With family in town, just after Christmas was the perfect time for a photo session with this group. The boys, still giddy from Santa's visit, did their best for the camera when they were just themselves.

What a perfect newborn baby and such a proud big sister. This is my great friend's new arrival. A beautiful addition to a beautiful family! It was truly an honor to photograph her at this precious stage.

Banana Peel?

This was such a fun family that sang the most cute, hilarious song about a banana peel? Or was it about a banana tree? I'll have to ask. This little guy was full of smiles and sure enjoyed the entertainment!

Fun at the park!

I met up with my good friend and her two boys at a beautiful park in Elmhurst. They loved playing and running but still slowed down a minute or two to get a few more formal shots too.

Another fun session at the lakefront! The skyline was just gorgeous and the clouds added a cool effect.

This was a fun session at the Chicago lakefront. The location is quickly becoming a favorite as there as so many unique settings and lighting scenarios. This little one had a great time playing in the sand and was so brave in the lake!
